SELF LOVE

#BEWISE: I have this friend that hates himself and doesn't want to please himself for anything. Yes I said he hates himself because he starves even when he has enough money to feed, he doesn't dress well even when there's enough money to get now clothes, he treaks a lot and won't take a cab or bike to lessen the stress and the one that baffles me most is that even when he is sick, he won't bring out money to buy drugs or go to the hospital for treatment but one thing he loves himself for, is that he will always collect when you give him and I love him for that too.
Come on I can't have what I need now and keep it for tomorrow because I know I will always get what I need tomorrow by God's grace and that is I will by a house today if I need it and have the money, I will buy the best car today if I need it and have the money and I will eat what I want to eat if I have the money because I know my tomorrow will come with its own problems and solutions.
That does not mean I don't plan or save for the future but it simply means I love myself so much.
"No one on earth will love you if you don't love yourself first and so learn to love yourself and you will be loved for loving yourself ".

INSTRUMENTS OF GOD

The Holy Trinity  “Whoever listens to you listens to me. Whoever rejects you rejects me. And whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me.” Luke 10:16 Jesus makes a threefold connection in this passage. He connects you to Him and Himself to the Father. Thus, when you are acting as a true instrument of the Lord, and another either listens to or rejects what you bring to them, then they are either listening to or rejecting not only you but also our Lord and the Father in Heaven. One thing this reveals is the awesome responsibility we all have to bring the love and mercy of the Father in Heaven to those whom we encounter every day. We are able to be true instruments of God. In making such a strong connection between us, Himself and the Father in Heaven, Jesus is elevating our human dignity to an incredible level. The time has come for us to remind ourselves of what this country used to be. Modernization and perhaps civilization has made us all so comfortable we pay little or no attention to our historical background. The only time we feel the need to get informed about the history of this great country is when we have job interviews to attend. The current affairs being taught at the primary school is not doing enough justice as many adults do not have the basic knowledge of how this country evolved and came to be what it is now.
