WALKING IN THE LIGHT

Today's Verse Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. – Psalm 119:105 Have you ever walked in the woods in the dark? You walk slowly, arms outstretched touching the trees for guidance and balance. The danger isn’t what you can feel but what you can’t see; the weeds hidden beneath the leaves, tripping you up as you walk and bringing you to your knees. Life is like a walk in the woods at night, some things we can feel however there is much that we can’t see. Yet God loves us too much to leave us stumbling in the dark, so He gave us His Word to help us see, shining enough light for our feet to be able to see and sidestep the weeds. We may not be able to see too far ahead, however we can see far enough to put one foot in front of the other, and that is all we need. - Written by Leila Halawe Today's Prayer Father God, we thank you that you are our Light in the darkness.
