THE PRAYER WARRIOR

Today's Verse

“My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord: in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.” - Psalms 5:3
There is nothing more inspiring than a dedicated coach. They are diligent in helping their team to become better players and people. The idea of giving up is never an option. They have a source to believe in as they keep their intense focus until victory is won. The life of a prayer warrior is similar in many aspects. They have a humbled heart of desire that listens attentively for the Lord’s mighty voice, and is linked powerfully to His presence. Giving up is never considered. They are an instrument on a definitive mission to see the presence of the Lord move in their lives and in the lives of others. They are ever interceding faithfully knowing that there will be victory by His grace. Strive to be a mighty prayer warrior today. Make prayer the greatest part of your day. – Commentary by Lisa M. Today's Prayer

Father, please teach me and help me to be a mighty prayer warrior. I want to draw closer to You and be a great light for Your Kingdom in other lives each day. Amen.

INSTRUMENTS OF GOD

The Holy Trinity  “Whoever listens to you listens to me. Whoever rejects you rejects me. And whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me.” Luke 10:16 Jesus makes a threefold connection in this passage. He connects you to Him and Himself to the Father. Thus, when you are acting as a true instrument of the Lord, and another either listens to or rejects what you bring to them, then they are either listening to or rejecting not only you but also our Lord and the Father in Heaven. One thing this reveals is the awesome responsibility we all have to bring the love and mercy of the Father in Heaven to those whom we encounter every day. We are able to be true instruments of God. In making such a strong connection between us, Himself and the Father in Heaven, Jesus is elevating our human dignity to an incredible level. The time has come for us to remind ourselves of what this country used to be. Modernization and perhaps civilization has made us all so comfortable we pay little or no attention to our historical background. The only time we feel the need to get informed about the history of this great country is when we have job interviews to attend. The current affairs being taught at the primary school is not doing enough justice as many adults do not have the basic knowledge of how this country evolved and came to be what it is now.
