MAJESTY IN THE BLOOD OF THE LORD.

Today's Verse

“In whom we have redemption through the blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.” – Ephesians 1:7
Probably some of the more complex challenges to incur upon the journey are resolutions. As time transitions from one realm to the next, we faithfully make pledges in our heart to change and grow. But, it can become increasingly difficult to keep those promises even though the will is there. Yet, when we do find the strength, despite our humanity, we feel amazing. We feel like a new person is beginning to emerge. When we call upon the blood of the Lord, we are making a solid, permanent life resolution. The majesty of His blood enters our lives like a perfect covering of hope. It cleanses us, and brings redemption and grace. He will give us the strength that we need when we fully submit our hearts unto Him. Make the greatest decision to cover your life with the blood of the Lord today. – Commentary by Lisa M. Leto

Today's Prayer

Father please help us to know that the power of Your blood is the strength that we need. Cover us mightily with Your shield as we travel our journey day by day. Amen.

INSTRUMENTS OF GOD

The Holy Trinity  “Whoever listens to you listens to me. Whoever rejects you rejects me. And whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me.” Luke 10:16 Jesus makes a threefold connection in this passage. He connects you to Him and Himself to the Father. Thus, when you are acting as a true instrument of the Lord, and another either listens to or rejects what you bring to them, then they are either listening to or rejecting not only you but also our Lord and the Father in Heaven. One thing this reveals is the awesome responsibility we all have to bring the love and mercy of the Father in Heaven to those whom we encounter every day. We are able to be true instruments of God. In making such a strong connection between us, Himself and the Father in Heaven, Jesus is elevating our human dignity to an incredible level. The time has come for us to remind ourselves of what this country used to be. Modernization and perhaps civilization has made us all so comfortable we pay little or no attention to our historical background. The only time we feel the need to get informed about the history of this great country is when we have job interviews to attend. The current affairs being taught at the primary school is not doing enough justice as many adults do not have the basic knowledge of how this country evolved and came to be what it is now.
